OUR APOSTLE
Apostle Anthony L. Shannon is a man after God’s own heart. He has a tremendous passion for God's word coupled with a love for God's people. He has a contagious spirit of generosity that flows through every facet of his ministry; His love for God’s people is evident in his work as Pastor at Stand & Be Counted Worship Center. Apostle Dr. Shannon is appointed and anointed to preach the Word of God in other cities as well as around the great city of Los Angeles while overseeing his own flock.
Apostle Shannon was born in San Diego, CA to Mr. & Mrs. Samuel Shannon and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He began his journey with the Lord in San Diego, in May of 1981 at Bayview Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Timothy Winters. He also was a member of Cochran Avenue Baptist Church in 1993 in Los Angeles for a number of years where he served as a deacon & was license as a minister by the late Pastor Percy Hill. Before answering his call to Pastor, he served as Assistant Pastor of Fire of Faith Christian Center, under the leadership of Pastor Rod Sutton. Elder Shannon’s purpose remains to bring lost souls to a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. Apostle Shannon continues to build upon his education and growth at Kings College and Seminary. In 2009, he received her Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Sacramento Theological Seminary & Bible College. In May of 2010, Apostle answered his call to the office of the Apostle under the guidance of his chief Apostle Robbie Horton.

Prophetess Shannon is an anointed woman of boldly preaching the unadulterated word of God. She was born in Milford, Delaware and spent most of her childhood life in Florida. Born to the late Apostle Earline Scippio, who were the founder and Pastor of Willing Workers for Christ Outreach Ministry in Atlanta, Georgia.

Prophetess Shannon served under the ministry for years before moving to Los Angeles. Raised by her grandparents, she was loved by both her mother and grandparents and learned the important value of family. Her grandfather was the late Bishop Leroy Fulton who pastured several churches. Dr. Shannon’s family stems from a long line of public speakers and preachers.
Dr. Shannon is the wife of Apostle Dr. Anthony Shannon, working as a team and in one Spirit, Dr. Shannon is the proud mother of three beautiful daughters, one handsome son, who is an anointed prophet of God. Through her adult children she has been blessed with twelve lovely grandchildren.
